Stray Puppy Drowned in Glue by Cruel Children Has Amazing Transformation
A stray puppy was subjected to the cruelty of humans, but thanks to the kindness of strangers he underwent an incredible transformation. In Turkey, veterinarians were brought a young puppy “drowned” in glue by neighborhood children. According to WENN, the “heartless youngsters then dragged the homeless animal through mud and essentially left him for dead.”
The puppy was discovered in the streets before the sticky substance could completely dry. When the rescuers had found him, the dog was nearly a rock-hard statue barely able to move and having trouble breathing. Racing against the clock, workers at the international rescue organization He’Art of Rescue in Istanbul began their work of cleaning the mud off and removing the epoxy. “Our heart is broken,” wrote the charity on their Facebook page. They named the puppy Pascal. “We will not let Pascal go through this alone.” To completely remove the glue, vets had to cut Pascal’s fur down to the skin. Chemicals in the glue had irritated Pascal’s skin and the puppy required pain medication, antibiotics, and special baths. The vets discovered Pascal already had an infection before suffering such cruelty, but assured their Facebook audience his condition had reached its lowest point. “Pascal’s general state is less likely to deteriorate,” said the Facebook update. “The treatment for parvo already started and baby Pascal is stable in the loving arms of our doctors.” Though Pascal’s abuse may have temporarily harmed him, his caretakers are optimistic that with the love and affection he deserves, Pascal will again trust people. “It is in his eyes, in his posture, his lack of trust for people… He is being flooded with LOVE — love that can heal everything.” What do you think about what international rescue organization He’Art of Rescue did?
