Ghostbusters star Leslie Jones’ online support for the U.S. Olympics team in Rio has earned her a TV gig at the heart of the Games. The comedienne was officially invited to be a part of NBC’s Olympic coverage in Rio De Janeiro after network bosses took notice of her extensive enthusiastic tweets about the 2016 Games.
Jones confirmed the trip via a Twitter video on Monday, writing, “RIO BOUND BABY USA! USA!!”
She later added, “Ok packing I’m in the middle of watching Olympics so I might miss some stuff!!”
