Brooklyn Beckham Eyes Movie Career
Brooklyn Beckham plans to attend university in the United States in a bid to carve out a career in film or photography. The son of retired soccer star David Beckham and his fashion designer wife Victoria had hoped to emulate his dad’s sporting success, but was dealt a blow in February when he was let go by London club Arsenal after bosses decided not to offer him a scholarship.
The eldest Beckham child had already signed up to a modeling agency and also undertaken an internship with film director Guy Ritchie on the set of his upcoming movie, Knights of the Roundtable: King Arthur. Now the teenager has revealed he wants to go to university in the U.S. after he graduates from his British school, telling Miss Vogue magazine, “I love football (soccer), but I’m also very passionate about photography and film. I’m keeping my options open right now… I’m hoping to study art and photography in the U.S., once I have finished my A Levels [exams].”
